FAQ
What do I need?
A running Home Assistant (2025.10+ for state kits, 2025.4+ for the Wall-Tablet kit and Blueprint Pack) and a wall tablet, computer browser or the Home Assistant companion app (iOS/Android). Recommended free add-ons are listed for each kit.
Does it only work on a wall tablet?
No. The same dashboards work on a wall tablet, in a web browser on your computer, and in the Home Assistant companion app on iPhone and Android phones, so you can check and control your home from whichever screen is handy.
Can I control my home from anywhere?
Yes, once remote access is set up. Controlling your home away from your home network needs remote access configured for your Home Assistant, for example a Home Assistant Cloud subscription from Nabu Casa or your own secure remote access setup. Remote access is not included with our kits.
Can I install more than one state?
Install only one edition per Home Assistant. Each kit uses its own entity prefix.
Is it a warning system?
No. Dashboards are software only. Always follow official advice, and call 000 in an emergency.
Do you sell hardware or do wiring?
Our dashboard kits are digital downloads. Pre-set-up hardware kits are coming soon (pricing coming soon). They are plug-in devices only; we do no wiring and give no electrical advice.
